@dropout.tv @umactually.bsky.social Oh boy, I finally get to do one of these! Um, actually, in House of the Dragon, the Targaryens did NOT "rule all of Westeros with dragons." The show was set about 70 years before Dorne joined the Seven Kingdoms. At the time of the show, it was still independent!

But today I saw a group of about 8 small kids dancing on the sidewalk to a busker's steelpan cover of The Cure's "Lovesong."

Having just finished it, I feel justified in sharing my hot take: Arcane is overrated.
Not that it's bad. It's really, really good. But I've seen so many people act like it's the second coming of Jesus.
