So I am a Canadian guy and it’s easy to shit on things south of the border but we are not exempt of being massive fuckups. How we have treated the First Nations, Japanese and Chinese is our past is abhorrent and deeply shameful. The lesson from the current events of today is how close anyone is.

I think perhaps California could consider succession or if they want to we could welcome them into Canadian confederation but that would be based on their desire not any pushy stance.
