On the way home this afternoon, someone on the radio was saying to visualize a specific memory vividly. Can you neurotypical people actually do that? Every once in awhile I can see like a flash of a memory if I have the right trigger, but I can't visualize anything on demand.

After more thought, I decided that I'm going to do mock ups of what some horror movies/miniseries might look like if they were made into an adventure game. Maybe tomorrow I'll have something finished to share.

At one point I had considered trying to make a Halloween/Horror game sprite every day this month. Instead I'm going to go with making scenes from movies in a somewhat Day of the Tentacle/Sam and Max style. I'll probably throw in some influence from Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back.

Huh, I just paid attention to my page on the book of faces and found that apparently I have a website that's still online. But nothing on it is functional.

So, I've thought about generative AI a bit this afternoon. While it can technically be used as a tool, that's rarely the case. More often it's used in a similar way to a mold for making bootleg action figures. Does it outright steal? No. But the end result isn't "yours" either.

As of today I'm using a new phrase to more accurately explain how I feel about things. I introduce you to "12 of one and a baker's dozen of another."

Last night I was recommended some videos about aphantasia and it's interesting how many people seem to think we can't enjoy reading. I've read a decent amount of genre books. Yeah, I can't picture events like they're a movie or such, but I can still form an idea of things and people.

I got distracted and started wondering about Discord server stuff. It seems that of names I recognize, I share at least 3 adventure game related servers. I don't think I share all with anyone. But there are 2 people who are close.

And I literally just got scolded by Bastila on the way to dump her in the Ebon Hawk. Right after she helped me slaughter innocent little alien prosimians... At least I won't need her any more once I help the grumpy old man with the kids on his lawn.

Replaying Knights of The Old Republic makes me wish for better solutions and better balance of Dark Side vs Light Side choices. I want to use the Dark Side to be cunning and manipulative without twirling a moustache. Or I want my Jedi to not slaughter everything that gets even a little grumpy.

Can't decide if I prefer Sal and Ella or Sal and Nella. Whichever I choose, making sure Ella/Nella isn't too much like Natalie from Monk will be my second largest hurdle.

Ugh. Almost every time I try to work on video game stuff this year, my brain feels... twitchy. I don't know if it's overstimulation, anxiety, burnout, a combination, or my brain has just decided it hates me. Maybe posting some of what I've been able to get done will help.

The fog this morning has engulfed everything more than 2 streets over. Looking at it gives me a feeling of unease. Is it because I live in what's basically a desert and I just have a natural aversion to high humidity? Or is it because of cryptids?

I wanted to use public domain comics as a basis for the tone and style of this month's MAGS game and found Drift Marlo. But how can I possibly match this?

I had wondered before if Hank The Cowdog was a book series known beyond the Texas panhandle (but never long enough to look it up). I just found that Qcode has a Hank The Cowdog podcast which includes Kristen Dundst as a voice.

After multiple attempts at problem solving, I do now have access to continue listening on podcasts. But my concentration level is low. So, trying first season of Monsters Among Us. Which is quite disconcerting given how much deeper Derek's voice sounds in newer episodes.

Not sure what podcast to listen to today. I only have 2 episodes of Mayfair Watchers Society left and want to wait until part 3 is up. Not helped by sometime yesterday most of my podcast subscriptions changed the order the episodes are listed...

My brain is on a tangent (not for the first time) about how Taskmaster is a competition where comedians try to win a Doctor Who villain. And why hasn't one of the winners gotten a mech suit/robot to display their trophy?
