So… I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s actually sort of Protest 101 to take a bus or public transit to major cities for action events. We’ve been doing it since the 80s. It doesn’t mean we’re paid, it means we’re organized. Oh and if you’re in CT I am super proud of my sister…

Day 1: Nanny.
This is my Nanny on her high school field trip to DC where she broke away to join in a Votes for Women March. Nanny was an artist - a picture she drew of my grandfather hangs in my house. She later became an Air Raid Warden in Philadelphia during the war although she never drove.

This literally made me laugh out loud because when I first saw the hotline I thought how lovely it would be if people just called saying “these people look like they don’t belong here” for every performative ICE and made up authority presence. But this works too.

I saw this today and my immediate thought was that if someone hasn’t heard of it, they haven’t seen “Ferris Beullers Day off” and they have so many other problems it’s just sad

This is cranberry-orange relish that I learned to make in Kindergarten class. Been making it over 50 years. I was in my 20s before I realized it was printed on the bag of cranberries…
