It’s probably troubling that at the history books & memories are going to be like “operation warp speed for Covid vaccines, cease fires that didn’t take - oh and during his presidency we couldn’t even see the White House, and all the pictures we took on our dc trip were of a construction zone.”

Just a weekend reminder that all the “online safety” and “screen free” work in the world won’t help if we don’t do effective digital rights work, and blend it with disinformation education. We cannot tell young people phones are bad while schools share data and adults share Facebook disinfo as fact

When I see these elected officials that say things about how we can’t have discussions because one person was shot it makes me wonder if they understand that in fact this is what they are paid to do, and are publicly admitting they have not been doing their job…
