Im so glad to have met the @valuevintage.bsky.social folks at SCG Baltimore cuz they reignited a long dormant love for 1-v-1 magic. I got to show someone else Living End and see him lose him mind over it and teach him how to interact with it and it felt like something missing coming back.

Sure, a card can do that. However a lot of cards exist and for every commander that spikes a random card multiple commander decks get printed that keep a lot of cards down or tank cards we didn't have access to. Additionally, if a card spikes $20 dollars you as a player just made money!

Prices are fairly stable. We would probably have to find quite large popularity to start affecting prices. However, if that happens it's nice to actually make money when a deck becomes unplayable due to price spikes versus when you lose money from a ban or a strategy no longer being relevant!
