the exact same thing happened to me and I'm a latina. they even made less questions than the time I came to see a hardcore band play in Boston before arriving to Toronto for ICA'23

Now, I understand that border agent interviews on arrival may be intimidating, especially for those not used to be flagged as suspicious for their nationality (something I'm very used to as a Latin American), but I hope this doesn't scare you to the point you decide to stop doing things 💛

15/ Third, subscribe to your local papers. Quality journalism is ever more essential today. Without people doing the hard work, we will never learn about malfeasance and corruption. NYTimes is great but local papers are essential!
