Yeah at this point I can tell how junior/senior someone is by how formal the email! If you get no caps and a lol you're like 'ah I've reached a man who thinks he's untouchable.' (Also learned that to tone match you gotta informal-ize your own emails sometimes)

According to Madhvi Bahl from @dcmigrantmutualaid.org, since the federal takeover kicked off on August 11 the group's hotline has received 4,852 incoming calls on immigration enforcement and other federal activity in the city. In the 79 days prior to the takeover, it was 743 calls.
