Also went an extra step and added an Area2D around the player that checks if it's by an enemy and, if so, plays a random voiceline of a Half-Life 1 Scientist panicking. Not the best but hey, it's my first time using Godot and I'm proud of my progress so far :]

Recently completed the "Your First 2D Game" tutorial in the Godot docs and had the bright idea to swap every sound for Half-Life ones
