Good hint. I’m in therapy now and it is so helpful. Found someone who specializes in religious trauma.

I have heard all these reasons. They are ok with blaming you or some random church that hurt you. They aren’t as ok hearing you have left for intellectual reasons.

I’m think it’s great you created a group. We do need people to talk about this in a safe community. I have joined some Facebook groups. They are easy to find just by searching exvangelical or exchristian. Most are private which is helpful as well.
