Excellent thread. Should be compulsory reading for all the charlatans, wherever they are, who for some reason think that @gmc conducted valid research to justify the conclusions of this document. People have said it wouldn’t get thru peer review - no, it wouldn’t even get that far.

are nothing of the sort and that to extend the function of the judiciary in this way is wrong.
Maybe if some of those voting had actually read the Bill - bc the Bill is what they should have been debated today, not the general principle

I haven’t seen the reply yet, but of course they’re right - lots of large organisations monitor SoMe, tho concentrating on a small number of accounts has a somewhat sinister feel to it

I was disappointed when I realised it was only medics’ accounts which were being monitored. I’d hoped they were monitoring mine - I was looking forward to issuing a cease and desist letter

Appalling, but not wholly surprising, treatment of women prisoners in particular, many of whom should not be in prison in the first place
