I continue to be utterly baffled how the President of the U.S. gets away with petulant disrespectful nasty behavior towards dignitaries, allies, reporters, etc. not to mention all the illegal activity. WTF? Where is the outrage from Repubs who would NEVER tolerate the same from a Dem leader?

Thank you @senangusking.bsky.social and @hcrichardson.bsky.social for a great “Paul Revere” discussion that should have everyone paying attention

So… this was supposed to be about Paul Revere’s ride, but the Senator just unloaded about the Trump administration and its Republican enablers. Far more newsworthy than I expected. (You can probably see me shifting to “crap, this was not the interview I prepped!” but the result was memorable.)

Thank you @vanhollen.senate.gov for being a leader with guts. We don’t have enough of those right now…

3 months of the Trump-Musk administration and the U.S. of A. is already FUBAR. Cannot imagine what it will look like in another 3 months…

UPDATE: Sen. Cory Booker has been speaking for more than 22 hours.

It's now the 2nd longest floor speech in the history of the Senate, according to MSNBC.
Sen. Cory Booker has been speaking on the Senate floor for more than 13 hours — taking aim at Trump, Musk, and America's 'moral moment'.

Just after hitting the 12-hour mark, Booker said, "I am standing here because of a national crisis that is growing."

Our country is such a dumpster fire right now, I want to repost everything, the entire shite show that’s happening, but this platform is just an echo chamber so what’s the point?

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Together with progressive partners, we’re planning a massive mobilization in the streets to translate the anger with Trump’s power grab into a nationwide show of defiance.

This is good advice we should all try to follow. Messaging is vital when you're battling an authoritarian government.
Call the tariffs the Trump Tax, always.

Apparently America First = Call on the Worst

Gaetz, Hegseth, Gabbard, RFK Jr., etc. - he’s draining the swamp right into his administration. These people can’t even pass basic FBI background checks to qualify for a security clearance, so they’re completely bypassing that process! What a shite show.

In Baghdad in 2008 some of the most squared away patrols I ever went on were lead by female MPs (another victory for the roy model #EconSky).

Women have been in combat jobs (formally / informally) for 20 years now and we still have the greatest military on earth. Why would anyone want to go back?
“Where do you think I lost my legs? In a bar fight?” Tammy Duckworth on CNN is not having this “no women in combat” thing from Sec of Defense pick and war crimes enthusiast Pete Hegseth
