Tried to make some sort of playlist that captured the feeling I had earlier. It was during a late night drive in the middle of nowhere. Tried to keep a similar tone for the songs far as sound goes. Overall, I'm quite happy with it.

In other news, been sort of toying around with and expanding a setting I've been working on for a bit. The kernel of an idea started as sort of concept for a video game. Though used the opportunity to explore an aspect of a pre-existing group in universe. Specifically my take on blood magic.

Honestly, trying my best to keep stable. But, part of me just really wants not to be in the US anymore. Obviously, impossible for me to leave for various reasons. Just really at odds with what it's become and the people who cheer it on. My family included.

I guess to switch gears a bit. Been playing games a little bit. Mostly Dune: Awakening & Below. The latter of which I've had for years. Just now getting around to playing it. Loving the atmosphere of it. Plus, the mechanics are simple but add up to a fun experience.

Started working on the stream again. Switched from OBS to Meld Studio. While OBS has its strengths. Meld sort of integrates with my brain a lot better. Right now setting up a Discord server for the stream & mapping out some content. Though it'll likely start off quite simplistic.

Also, it is such a dog whistle when people take issue with comparing current day happenings/beliefs to Nazism & Hitler. Nah, people echoing beliefs & actions that are comparable should be called out. They might not self identify as such but their actions relate to how those horrors began.

Kind of unfortunate just how many members of my family are included in the groups my last post mentioned. Though, I'm not exactly shocked by it. Considering I've barely ever fit into the mold of the Deep South. It does still hurt to have a void where ones family should be.
