I don't think Congress is going to reconvene. I don't think we'll have another election. I think we'll be under martial law by the end of the year. My optimism is depleted.

There are many complicated explanations for why Dems have spent 50 yrs losing lots of elections, but theres also a simple one:
Dems were a majority party for decades when they championed New Deal-ism & they became a losing party when they sided with money & discarded that legacy

I voted this morning in NWFL. The ballot scanner wasn't pulling in the ballots. I had to deposit my ballot in an emergency bin. Maybe it will be counted.

Elon's DOG-E crew are definitely doing illegal shit, but it doesn't matter because by the time there is some method to stop them, they will have finished the job. They know that they only have a very small window of time to do what they want. The damage is done at the outset.

We need to stop expecting some legal measure to block the Republican agenda. Trump and his "administration" don't give two shits about illegality or constitutional order. Once fascists get into power, there's no simple way to remove them.
