That show brings back memories!

I miss truly cheap video games during those sales, too. Remember snagging sub-$20 Xbox 360 era games. Now you are lucky if they knock $10 off select Nintendo Switch titles.

The only thing I miss about it is cheap deals on DVDs, particularly television series. Otherwise… nah I don’t miss the chaos of it. People fighting for $3s off USB thumb drives or whatever was ridiculous.

Update: so Gruv customer service cannot do anything for orders from Shout Factory prior to November 2nd. They referred me to another email and… I guess I start this process back over.

I bet my order truly got lost and they’ll have no way to track it. Fuck!

I’m worried that my order got lost in whatever behind the scenes transition happened between Shout Factory and Gruv.

Either way, it was a $100 order for 7 BluRays and I’d kind of like my stuff.

I been slowly working my way through the seasons as well. It's been a fun rewatch, especially the early episodes. Would have loved to see what Frank Darabont's full vision for "Walking Dead" would have been. Like you said, zombies that sort of retail some smarts would have been interesting to see.

Spot on! And how nice was it to have a major product announcement without a single mention of the word “AI” or some sort of voice assistant. Valve once again stepping in to fill the void Microsoft is leaving behind.

I think $499.99 is a pretty safe bet. That puts it in line with a base model PS5 (the digital version). And a little above the Switch 2. I’ll be curious what that VR headset is going to cost.

I love the idea of offloading (most) of the computing power to another device and streaming that directly to the Frame itself. Should keep the unit very lightweight and have decent battery life as well.

I always get tired wearing the Quest after about 45-ish minutes due to the weight.
