First, I literally admit my comment is not the point of the article. I actually appreciate the article and I’m glad you shared it.

Second, the article goes out of its way to credit Hegseth with something factually incorrect - which is MY point.
McLaughlin confirmed the change, but insisted that the department wasn't cutting corners. "We are moving fitness checks earlier in the training sequence to improve efficiency and accountability—not to lower standards," she told me. Highlighted portion- (This all comes as Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has overhauled military fitness standards and implemented new testing requirements that include push-ups, running drills, and weight lifting.)

Today, the military Mr. Hegseth leads faces a world of complex and shifting security challenges that require the Pentagon to work through allies and partners. Often the enemies' actions in cyberspace or the information domain are intended to weaken American resolve and credibility without tipping into all-out war. Mr. Hegseth's vision of military strength left little room for these subtleties. Nor did it mention the recent deployment of National Guard soldiers to places like Washington, D.C., where they have been tasked with "beautification" missions, such as raking leaves and picking up trash.

So, earlier during #HHN spec, someone tossed out the title “Christmas SCarols” for a house based on the Dicken classic. I love the name, but had a different idea.

A haunted house based on Christmas SONGS.

The superficially damaged, humanoid cowboy who kills for money is likely going to lead marketing for any Fallout house. Why would Uni then have an original house centered on a superficially damaged, humanoid cowboy who kills for money?
The Ghoul from Fallout. Walter Groggins is a cowboy with ruddy, skull-like visage as the skin pulls back and wrinkles against his skin. And he has no nose.

Seeing this musical, “Parade.” Sounds fun! I need a parade. It would help me escape how things are going in real life for a couple of hours!

Something that’s getting glossed over is this throwaway line that eating disorders and suicidality are “incompatible with Active Duty.”

Both run absolutely rampant in the military, and a literal read of this could affect a not insignificant percentage of service members.

I’ve seen a lot of kvetching about the #HHN house permits this year, especially in regards to the 24B permit but no 24A permit (yet).

Universal will use the A/B nomenclature if the location contains 2 houses.

For example, SS 24 only had one house in 2013 (thanks to @horrornightnightmares.com)
