I think bc "fat=unhealthy" in most ppl's minds, them being discriminatory is impossible to them. They reason if they're critiquing something about somebody's health it's justified. And since healthism not being healthy is a moral failing, it's sort of a 1-2 Punch

Worse, I think a lot of them think their fatphobic comments are justified and therefore can't actually be discriminitory in any way. We love it here 🫠
