Very happy with this pickup, a 1993 Sports Specialties Pro model Florida Marlins in glorious teal. All wool, 100% awesome. When I look at this beauty, I think of Sheffield, Conine, Benny Santiago. When I wear it, I feel like Charlie goddamn Hough.

Very happy with this pickup, a 1993 Sports Specialties Pro model Florida Marlins in glorious teal. All wool, 100% awesome. When I look at this beauty, I think of Sheffield, Conine, Benny Santiago. When I wear it, I feel like Charlie goddamn Hough.
Friday night done right: watching/scoring TOR-NYY, SEA-ATL on laptop, beer from Uxbridge, ON (Slabtown), rye from Ptbo (Black's), Bill Evans/Miles/ Archie Shepp/Monk/Herbie Hancock on the speakers. Feeling okay over here (Jays up 4-1), however temporarily.

Stumbled across Hollinger Park in Timmins, Ontario. Beautiful wooden grandstand built circa 1939 by the Hollinger Mines company, owner of the enormous gold mine immediately adjacent to the park. Used for amateur ball for decades, but now slated to be converted into an event space. No more ball.
