Los Angeles was ground zero for Trump’s war on immigrants and his abuse of power. Now, Minnesotans exercising their First Amendment rights are being violently suppressed by his secret police — leaving people dead.

I remember the 60 Minutes piece on him last fall. Whole thing seemed way out of place for that show. Now making more sense.

The doctor may end up best-remembered for his emails.

I understand it's hard for some to use the term concentration camp, even for those horrified by what's happening. And there are settings (e.g., court) where it may not be helpful today. The key thing to realize is that there's an arc of how detention regimes tend to go, and we're recognizably on it.

This is not normal. Silencing reporters and punishing free speech is cowardly behavior from those afraid of the truth.

People on the right side of history will not be silenced.

It’s hard to defend Trump claiming he’s going after ‘the worst of the worst’ — while still refusing to release the Epstein files.

What do these five corporations have in common?

Amazon
AT&T
Home Depot
Microsoft
Palantir

They got massive tax breaks—paid for with cuts to our healthcare.

Their CEOs pocketed millions in personal tax cuts.

And now they're helping ICE terrorize our communities.
