You've described Daggerfall perfectly

The AI people have stolen everyone's work, wasted a bunch of water, and pumped a bunch of CO2 into the atmosphere all in order to make a machine that convinces teenagers to kill themselves.

And of course only games that actually properly tag and label their content get hit, since it's all automated processes. Games that don't tag their content are completely untouched.

Had a similar issue with itch where they essentially published two lists:

1. content that is not allowed at all
2. content that can't be sold (but by implication can be offered for free)

... and then they went and removed a ton of free games that belonged in category 2.
