Giving this excellent book as a gift to my ID ARNP about the scandal of collecting plasma from high risk groups during the AIDS crisis to make Factor VIII, a miracle tx for hemophilia. Pharma knew this was risky, but it was too lucrative until it became deadly #infectiousdiseases #HIV #AIDS

Gorgeous day at the beach yesterday! Highly recommend Egmont Key. We saw many dolphins, a manatee, and gopher tortoise. We’re fortunate to have these protected keys not too far away from Tampa Bay.
