I jumped from Xfinity to AT&T Fiber as soon as I found out that fiber was now in my neighborhood. For about the same price, I could get symmetrical upload speeds and a dedicated line. I mean, why not?

The "modern" siding continues to come down. When I moved Niles in the early 90s, metal siding covered most of these beautiful facades. My wish is that more small businesses would occupy these spaces.

I remember upgrading my Compaq Presario that had Windows 98SE to Windows XP. It was fantastic and I have never experienced a better OS upgrade since.

My parents live out in the country and can only get 1Mbps internet. They aren’t even served wirelessly by Verizon or T-mobile. Midwest Energy & Communications are now installing fiber. I’m very excited for them. I’m thankful for the infrastructure investment.
