Like even tho straight couples are more likely to both work and split costs do you know that women in a straight relationship where both work still ends up taking the majority of the load domestically and with childcare??? if you can't understand this like maybe self reflect

im so sorry that women having the freedom to expect basic decency from their partner like splitting domestic tasks or wanting you to take care of yourself or pitch in for childcare has made it impossible for you to find someone. look in the mirror.

Ive also had men match with me because I listed games like hades, ace attorney, or tetris as being my personal fave games or "obscure" animes as being ones I enjoyed and then get immediately grilled about my knowledge level on them as though im taking a college entrance exam.

I ask some of you to consider how many people I had to block on apps because of how disgusting and weird they were to me. I ask some of you to consider that hyper-visibility or attracting more attention is not inherently positive.

and sure as someone feminine presenting i know i got more matches on apps than other people but how many of those matches do you think devolved into sexual harassment or lewd gross comments from the onset? How many matches do you think fetishized my sexuality or race?

I literally used to play league all the time and I had to stop because if I was on voice chat I would be harassed by my teammates regardless of how I was playing. Like I dont play league or pretty much on online co-op video games because of how men would behave if they heard my voice

also I have incredibly nerdy interests and as someone often perceived as a woman/someone who is on certain days a woman i like partners who are similar but most of my bad experiences with men being gatekeep-y or weird have been within nerdy hobbies

They dont all have that option (some do but not all) but a good way if it doesnt to put in your bio or profile some of your biggest hobbies/interests. There's also apps like meet up that are more for finding social groups but you can filter by interests/hobbies and meet in person
