That’s a shame. Terrible attitude. Sure, there will be a few cuts to our President. But also the wonderful Dr. Jill Biden will be in attendance. Far too many of us allowing President Trump to live rent-free in our heads.

It is ridiculous claims such as these that alienate voters. Our republic is not crumbling at all. We Democrats and our leaders should be focusing on presenting positive ideas of our own for the 2026 midterms. Shame on us if we continue all this negativity.

The best thing that we can do as Democrats is ensure that voter rolls are above reproach. No deceased, non-citizens, other ineligibles. Also, we must do our best to ensure that only legal voters cast a ballot each election.

She’s far more formidable than similar personalities on the left. Our leading strategists and media mouthpieces are typically ugly in appearance and messaging. If you don’t think that matters, you’re part of the reason we lost.

Beyonce’s only public campaigning. You quite obviously don’t have my knowledge and experience in how things work behind the scenes at awards shows. Been on it for decades. Instead of blindly defending, do your own research on the history of the process and practices.

Won in a category outside her genre when up against - in the widespread opinion of longtime fans of that genre - more deserving artists/projects. The LP was largely ignored by that fan base for a reason, and it had nothing to do with race.

Apologies if I missed that part. But if you’re not aware that all major awards shows have seen this phenomenon, you’re naive. Voters, already left-leaning, are bombarded with propaganda as to why they should vote for some person or project. Happens all the time. It’s not a “conspiracy” at all.

Buying the award, which is not far fetched and has been done in the past, is not the only possibility that I posited. You failed to address the other, as all do. And there were as many negative as positive reviews, especially from true traditional country music sources.

That’s actually not true. There is an American socio-political “middle” that swings during national elections based on candidates/messaging and on whether the prior administration went too far left or right. Proven over and over. If we don’t recognize it and go after them, we’ll keep losing.

I never said that was the only possible reasoning. Voters in these awards have frequently demonstrated obvious social statements in their honors. Only someone with their head buried in the sand would deny that truth.
