As long as Republicans in the House and Senate act like defense attorneys for Trump and minions, this country will be in peril. The job of a Representative and Senator is to advocate for the best interests of the country, not some stooge who happens to be an elected or appointed official.

DOGE is cutting the IRS workforce. Repeatedly, studies show that every $ 1 spent on auditing wealthy individuals and corporations yields $12 in additional revenue. Why isn't DOGE recommending efforts to increase compliance with existing tax legislation? Who benefits? Certainly not the US taxpayer.
