Rain sheeting off Bray Head, the video doesnt quite capture it. @carlowweather.bsky.social

Dargle is flowing faster than I've ever seen and lots of storm debris around the harbour.

This pic from another angle is on Ravelry, so I think @rumtscho.bsky.social could be right and they're sewn together. So more straightforward.

This may be hard to read but it was published in the Newry Reporter on 2nd July 1900. Susan O'Doherty's death is recorded and there was an inquest but not sure as you say, where Mary's death record is!

I remember reading this on the DART back in 1997 (my first job). Which was fine, until I realised I had smiled for the whole journey and the guy sitting opposite assumed I was smiling at him. Morto!

Yours looks decent (to me), but tea making is a fairly contentious art here. You've already picked up on the Barry's vs. Lyons thing but the quantity of milk is a whooole other argument!

Annual re-watch pending. Still puzzled by parts if it all these years later.

#GenHour Can I ask an opinion? How unusual d'you think this marriage record is? Groom was 19, bride was widowed, in her 30's I think. His father was by then destitute, in & out of the, workhouse. Hers was MD of a Dragoon regiment, from a family of notable architects.

I'm fascinated and baffled!
