it's so funny that the default quickstart options in mass effect 1 make shepard a soldier when it is by far the least fun class to play.

The Citadel Council always frustrated me. They claim to protect the galaxy, yet their inaction during the Reaper crisis nearly doomed us all. But maybe I’m too harsh. When you’re at the top, every decision is political. Still, their refusal to trust Shepard’s warnings proved fatal arrogance.
