So I’m doing NG+ on Khazan and it does add new tiers of gear and other things to keep it interesting, but the new stat being a fixed stat and lack of game breaking new possible stuff to find (so far) holds it back from Nioh. But…end game build/craft meta is hard to do. Not everyone is Team Ninja

I think a primary feature of souls games (for me) is that replaying the games is motivated by a desire to go back to the place where I once struggled.
That original struggle is unobtainable, but I can go back and recall my growth in the broken streets of Lordran and Yharnam.

So glad we are both safe, but as I walked my daughter to the bus at the curb today, some ableist jerk literally zipped around the bus onto the wrong side of the road just a few feet in front of my daughter and between her and the bus doors. There wasn’t room for him and the car parked on the side

Khazan is close to wrapping up! I took a break while I was in Oklahoma, but got back a few days ago and Trokka, Bellerian, and Skalpel all fell quickly.
Game is great but feels like a shorter Nioh where the meta isn’t actually necessary for success. I will always lovingly call it a Nioh-lite. ❤️❤️❤️

We made it back home. It was a fucking hard trip for my trauma triggers.
I thought I was over my attack so much more than it feels like when I’m back at my parents where my childhood trauma happened.
