Starting a new midlife chapter and building a labyrinth to celebrate.

7 mths ago I was wheeled into my room at the rehab hospital on a gurney, and board transferred onto my bed. 6mths ago at my first PT appointment, I arrived in a wheelchair. It’s frustrating as f*ck, but progress is steady.#strokesurvivor #learningtowalkagain #learningtowriteagain

One pernicious step after another, Bezos encroached on the Post editorial policy. Today he seized it fully. The old Washington Post is gone. I'll never write for it again as long as he's the owner.

Stroke Update Month Six: walking is consistently getting better. About a third of the time I walk without the cane. My gait looks like Frankenstein, but that should smooth out.

For my herbal friends! I created a starter pack of herbalists and plant lovers that I have been able to find on this app so far. I've only included people that I know personally or whose work I know.

If you'd like to be added, shoot me a DM & lets get to know each other!

Herbal friends, @prisonculture.bsky.social has compiled this guide to action (not protesting/voting).

I’d like to compile a list of actions we can take as herbalists, plant lovers, & gardeners & would love help!

Drop a comment with an action & I’ll get it started!
