I acquired this Panda Azalea from a nursery two summers ago in a one gallon pot. I aggressively reduced both the roots and branches and transplanted it into a #bonsai pot. Last year it did not bloom at all but has made up for it this year.

Hinoki False Cypress Bridget #bonsai.

These Western Hemlock and Western Red Cedar seedlings were harvested yesterday from the side of a rural highway. The taller Hemlocks would soon have been mowed down as part of regular highway maintenance. Many thanks to the friend who spotted these little ones.

This cascading Japanese Juniper has grown significantly over the 5 years I have had it, especially over the past year or two. I am planning to prune and wire the smaller branches this year. It would be the most ambitious wiring project so far in my #bonsai journey as there are many small branches.

I have had this Hinoki False Cypress Contorta #bonsai since the spring of 2020. Its colours look great in early summer. It is due for restyling in 2025.
