For example, this is a longer walk than what they mentioned, but I never hear complaints or comments about ableism in instances like this.

I checked the distance and that is just one north/south block - 1/8 of a mile, so like a 3 minute walk time

Nice. I really hope they took some inspiration from Salt Lake City and Minneapolis. Theirs are fantastic.

Not to be sappy but that is a really nice ongoing bit. My 5 year old still talks about the 13mm socket and extension I lost changing a battery like 2 years ago, I kind of hope he asks me about it for awhile.
