It occurs to me that a MASSIVE part of the Democrats failures is that we as a party spend ALL of our time DEFENDING ourselves while R’ spend all their time defining us. And this is why we lose.

Chasing moderate votes - at its core - is trying to be a B-rate version of party we’re up against. I think it’s pretty clear that this strategy is a losing strategy and yet Dems WILL NOT adopt a different POV. It’s not the messaging it’s THE MESSAGE thats not working. #politics #thebulwark #democrat

What if the midterm elections turn out to be a blowout, just like the presidential race? Hardly anyone seems to be anticipating that outcome—just like few predicted the scale of the last election. If that happens, what then?
