102 - Wendell Young

Young was a goaltender 10 years for 4 teams. He played most as Penguin and won the Stanley Cup back to back in ‘91 and ‘92. He is the only player in history to have won the Memorial, Calder, Turner, and Stanley Cups. The Chicago Wolves retired his number 1.

Crazy Legs is also Richard Colón’s stage name as an American b-boy with the Rock Steady Crew. He was featured in early stories on hip hop dancing in New York, and brought it to London and Paris. He can be seen in the movies Wild Style (‘82), and Flashdance (‘83). #hockeycards

101 - Jamie Macoun

Macoun was a defenceman 16 years for 3 years. Undrafted out of Ohio State, he was on the NHL All-Rookie team in ‘83-‘84 with the Flames, won the Stanley Cup with them in ‘89, and then again with the Red Wings in ‘98. He was nicknamed Crazy Legs.

1967 was the 100th year of Canada, and babies born that year were Centennial babies. The very 1st was a baby born on a military base in Germany, but July 1st was Dominion Day where Pamela Anderson was almost the first Centennial baby born a few hours after midnight. #hockeycards

Shank was a right winger 3 years for 2 teams. His best was here as a Red Wing rookie scoring 24 points. He played 9 years in the IHL including 92 points with the San Diego Gulls, and 44 goals in 54 games with the Detroit Vipers. He was born in Montreal in 1967.

Butcher was a defenceman 14 years for 4 teams. In ‘82 he won Canada’s first Gold at the World Juniors. He played in the ‘93 All-Star game as a Blue as an injury replacement. His career high in points was a Canuck in ‘87-‘88 with 23. His nickname was Strangler.

Ridley was a centre 12 years for 4 teams. He was on the All-Rookie team with the Rangers in ‘85-‘86, and an All-Star in ‘88-‘89 with the Capitals where he scored 41 goals, and 89 points. He was drafted while playing for the University of Manitoba Bisons.

Chiasson was a defenceman 13 years for 3 teams. He was an All-Star one year in Detroit which was his best scoring 62 points. He died in a car accident at the age of 32, after leaving a team party while playing for Carolina. He was nicknamed Chaser.

94 - Thomas Steen

Steen was a centre for 14 years all with the Jets. He had a career high 30 goals in ‘84-‘85 and career high 88 points in ‘88-‘89. He’s 3rd all-time in scoring for the Jets/Coyotes. On the front of the card shows Steen playing in a game January 8, 1990.

Skrudland was a centre 15 years for 5 teams. He won the Cup as a rookie with the Canadiens in ‘86 where he scored the fastest goal in playoff history in Game 2 of the Finals at 9 seconds. We won the Cup again with the Stars in ‘99. He was nicknamed Skrewy.
