My take on #Andor Syril and Deirdre's "Turn off the light" scene is: they don't have some dom/sub kinky thing going on (maybe I have too much Reddit). No. They are gentle with each other. That's why Deirdre needs the lights off. Syril is the only one ever seen her vulnerable and out of control. 1/2

I started to read #startrek New Visions. That's a photo novel magazine by John Byrne, where he takes one Star Trek TOS episode and retells or spins it further by using photos from the show to make a comic.
I read #1 "The Mirror, Cracked" which tells what happens after S02E04 "Mirror, Mirror".

I just defeated Ratnor Rodentson, a #Thor inspired character in Tails of Iron by @oddbugstudio.bsky.social and @unitedlabel.bsky.social omg that was so hard! But now, I have the hammer. What an awesome #indie game!

I finished Ten Men Dead by David Beresford. Thanks to @doomcountry.bsky.social for recommending it. It's an impressive book.

Wait! Liquidator Brunt and Weyoun are played by the same actor!
Well done Jeffrey Combs, I only noticed at S07E24 of #DS9.

Wait, did Ezri and Word just agree to be friends with benefits before being executed on Cardassia and then being set free by Damar?
#DS9 never fails to surprise me S07E19.

This week's Judge #Dredd by Williams & Whyatt, Lynch, Boswell, and Parkhouse in @2000ad.bsky.social is so good. Uhh the implication at the end is quite a cliffhanger. But I want to highlight this panel. The whole thing is very well done but this is beautiful. The mirror is very foreshadowing!

Quark is advertising womens' rights by arguing that they will have pockets to fill with latinum! I think our fashion industry should move forward in that direction. I want pockets! #DS9

I saw such an awesome #DS9 episode today: In the pale Moonlight, S06E19. Sisko cheats and lies to get the Romulans into the War with the Dominion. This episode is like a stage play. So great monologues by Sisko and Garak.

I always smile when I watch a #DS9 episode and see that its directed by LeVar Burton. I loved him as Geordie La Forge in #TNG but most of all I'm impressed and moved by his engagement to bring people into reading.

Nog to Garak "I will never turn my back to you again!"

Nog seconds later: turns his back to Garak.

I love #DS9

Huh S05E18 of #DS9, Business as usual, is directed by Siddig Al Fadil and Dr. Bashir is played by Alexander Siddig. I wonder if they wanted to be called respectively depending on whether people wanted to talk to the director the actor.

Uh S05E12 is a weird episode. But in a good way. Odo becoming un-solid again by absorbing a dying baby changeling... Uh yes. Like a re-birth! And Kira had the O'Briens' baby. And it was awesome to see Dr. Mora's and Odo's relationship development.

Seriously! #StarTrek #DS9 is doing an episode called Trouble with Tribbles and it's a time travel episode back to the TOS episode and it's structured as Sisko telling that story to some time authority dudes. Awesome! Trouble with Tribbles was my first ever Star Trek I zapped in. Hooked me up!

Knowing that Alexander Siddig is the farther of Nana Visitors Baby makes Kira's and Bashirs interactions while caring for O'Briens baby in Kira's womb so wholesome. #StarTrek #DS9

I watched S04E26 of #StarTrek #DS9 Broken Link. Odo made human as a punishment and Garak fighting and arguing Worf for the occasional genocide were some gut punches. I love DS9 for making me both, love and despise Garak.

I began the year by reading the excellent comic Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment. I wonder what this year will bring? Triumph or Torment?

Eh that's the same argument Dukat tried to use with Kira in S04E14 of #DS9 #X-Men

Whenever I decide for a favourite episode of #DS9, the next one is even better! I still don't like the intro music but Season 4 is awesome! Just saw the episode of Rom forming a union. I'm so proud of him.

Sooo haha Our Man Bashir: S4E9 of #DS9. It's awesome when Star Trek fabricates some transporter accident such that the personal patterns of major characters have to be stored somewhere and that happens to be Bashir's James Bond Holoprogramme that was just intruded by Garak!

S4E6 of #DS9. The Defiant gets attacked in the Gamma Quadrant and needs, for some reasons, to dive into the atmosphere of some gas planet. Without sensors and badly damaged, many of our familiar characters injured or stuck in parts of the ship they play a cats and mouse game with the attackers.
