We have entered the "The police is saying that if the police is at your door you are not safe call the police immediately" stage of making America great again

🚨House Republicans just passed a bill that would disenfranchise 70 million married American women.

Under the SAVE Act, women who took their spouse’s last name and don't have an updated passport or birth certificate would be turned away at the polls.

Now, the Congressman says this: that the SAVE Act requires states to allow citizens to register even with name changes.

But that is not exactly what the SAVE Act says, and the “exactly” is in the details.
The bill allows for several different ways to prove citizenship. But most importantly, it requires state leaders to establish protocols to allow citizens to register even if there are discrepancies in documents, such as name changes.

Great piece by Kristin Connelly on how the SAVE Act undermines our elections by making it harder to vote. Check it out here:

Opinion: SAVE Act claims to solve an election problem that doesn’t exist
Requiring proof of citizenship would do more harm than good, undermining our elections by making it harder to vote.

The SAVE Act, a.k.a the Save the Republicans' Asses Act, is a shameless attempt to block Americans—especially married women—from voting. Requiring birth certificates to cast a ballot? That’s not election security. That’s voter suppression.

The military story of Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball after serving as a 2nd lieutenant in the Army, no longer exists on the Department of Defense’s website as part of the Trump administration’s wiping out of DEI within the federal government.

So let me get this straight.

If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check.

But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't?

Got it.

This video is truly eye-opening.

Take a couple minutes to watch this.

A mind-boggling visual representation of wealth inequality in America.

In politics clarity is its own opportunity. The storm of the 2024 election has created great clarity. The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, and 3rd richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, are currently asking a group of Trump judges to end the right to organize & join a union in the United States.
