Between this and Cyberpunk it feels like we're finally shaking off the novelty factor of ports from earlier generations

Like if Switch 1 ports were impressive because they looked impossible then Switch 2 ports are impressive because they look so seamless

Probably because it's a Switch 1 game that was hastily ported to Switch 2, though I'm guessing it will be updated and upgraded sooner than later in the usual Aspyr fashion

I imagine they were already in the process of doing this (understanding that you need new games to sell a new system) but I guess now they will be doubling down on it

Meanwhile the sequels lean way too hard into treasure hunting while making your mastery of bosses matter less for the final rank

If you can say anything about Wii U sales figures it's that people showed up for the games

5 million isn't a lot but across this many games (including Splatoon) it's remarkably consistent at least
