Sadly, we've reached a point in the digital age where folks who are allergic to shrimp (metaphorically speaking) don't just pass on the shrimp at the buffet.

Most actual plays with any kind of an audience have a degree of choreography that is pretty artificial to a ttrpg session between friends. It's a performance within the framework of a game.

People getting into the hobby often miss this and come to the table expecting to emulate actual plays 2/x
