I was 6 years old in 1977 when my parents took us to see this at the drive-in, the orca ripped a guys leg off and ate it onscreen while I drank cherry cola. Good times.

Sorry but wrapping Kaboom in the early 80’s was a proud accomplishment, plus I was saving the world from a Mad Bomber. Video games have a long history, and are fun. This is a very old-school take, older than me, and I’m older than dirt.

I let my non-binary child know high-level that I’m leaving all Meta properties because Zuckerberg is allowing people to openly call non-binary and trans people “it” and say they’re mentally ill. So they went on Minecraft and made a FB logo with Lava Dispensers above it and let ‘er rip.That’s my kid.

My son is playing Minecraft and voluntarily added an indigenous land acknowledgement, even though it's imaginary land in there with upside-down sheep and an excessive amount of lava everywhere. Proud parent moment on all counts haha
