I had to stop. Watching Gale Hawthorne try to be dark and broody is hard. I couldn’t watch more today. I’ll try again another day.

Ok. Episode two has better lighting. Jaskier’s wig isn’t great either.

Also he hasn’t talked to his horse once. Geralt LOVES his horse. The relationship between Geralt and Roach was as much a feature of this show as anything else.

Le sigh. His accent. It’s just…not…right. I’m not sure I can do this.

So much of it looks like cgi. Even the woods and the horses. Did they change something about production too?

Ooh, the wig is bad. And his voice is like 5 steps too high. Trying to not let it take me out of it.

How do you make a summary video of three seasons of a story about the Witcher without ever showing his face or hearing him speak?!? This does not bode well. Yeah I know they recast him, that’s why I’ve avoided watching.

If you’re a parent of a neurosparkly child, maybe you understand what I’m talking about.
