Congrats to Claire Garman, a PhD student in Dr. Sujata Chaudhari's lab, who won 1st place in oral presentation at the Entomological Society of America's annual conference. Garman presented their research on the critical role of chitin biosynthesis in tick cuticle integrity during engorgement.
