It’s so wonderful to have a great community on here for trans and just queer people in general :)

I write stuff sometimes! Most of the times. Come to me if gay Stephen King sounds mildly interesting to do (and lower your expectations).

It's simultaneously humbling and motivating to understand that people write books all the time, and have been for... a long ass time.
Someone will care about your drop in the ocean & you'll realize you're just a small drop in the endless sea.
Write because who cares, write because someone will care.

It's like you're a new parent wanting to desperately show off pictures and stories of your baby; people care, but not a fraction of the same as you do. And it's not a bad thing! But it is hard to deal with at first. I think the fact that I *know* I care is enough. Maybe that will change, maybe not!

Extra chapters need to be edited too, but weird to think I'll probably end up with a finished book over 100k words. Never thought I'd get this far. Maybe it won't sell, maybe it won't get popular-- but I'll publish it anyway. Life's too short. Do that shit.

Back when I was a preteen, a friend and I tried to write a story for NaNoWriMo— but life got in the way & I’m sure the story wasn’t great anyway lol. Still had fun doing it. We’d go to the library after school and use the computers there for hours.
