For reference, in the 2019-2020 flu season, which is the last fair reference, 22,000 people died. So what do we expect for 2025-2026 with no vaccine? 50,000? 100,000? I want to discuss this now, so in a year we will know exactly how many people were killed by yesterday's email from RFK jr..

This is the first full NIRCam field for the HEFE large program on JWST. It’s part of a region of active star formation north of the Orion Nebula, near the top of Orion’s sword.
Young stars tantrums are quite violent, as you may already know. Here are some example as seen by the JWST! 🔭
This is HOPS383, in Orion, and its surroundings. You can spot different new stars in the making, at the centre of each jets that can be seen here and there.
