Should I take it in to a shop or purchase a new bobbin case? It seems like there might be a mechanical issue. I'd like to learn to repair my own machine but don't know where to start. #audhd

I think there must be a snag on the bobbin case. Because the thread keeps getting wound around the bobbin case. Not the bobbin. It's nothing I've ever seen before. Which is weird because I have been sewing for decades.

Bobbin side. It seemed to be getting tangled on the bobbin case but I can't figure out why. I planned to watch some tutorials but moved on for a bit to destress. I would appreciate any recommendations or ideas. Thanks for responding.

Yes. I changed it this morning while troubleshooting. It correct needle, inserted correctly.

We still read together. My children are 17-28. It's not nightly but it still happens. And did regularly well into their teens. We talked about everything.
