Saw a large covey of quail on the side of the Galloping Goose the other day, but a scooterer scared them before I could get a shot of the group. Just trust me- there were a lot!

Rode 55 km on Saturday! Biked out to Harvest Rd at Michell Farm and stopped to see the new piglets on the way. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a fun #yyj outing on the weekend. (Or during the week if you don't have a boring 9-5 like some of us.)

Spent some time under the IRL blue sky today. We went to Nanaimo to look for butterflies, and then took paddleboards on the river. It was hot as hell, but the water was perfect!

We were looking for Vancouver Island marmots on Mt. Washington when we stumbled on the captive guys in the breeding program! Not quite the same but still exciting. The breeding program has increased the population of this mega-cute endangered species from fewer than 30 to approaching 400!
