This isn’t about extra funding. It’s about workers getting paid properly and having secure jobs so they can keep delivering essential services.

That’s why workers are taking action today until they win fair wages! This phase of action includes:
✅ Refusing unpaid admin work
✅ Not filling out fleet logbooks
✅ Chalking DHS vans with ‘Safe Support Services NOW!’
✅ Leaving council bins for management to move

Safe support services depend on a stable workforce. But right now, low pay and job insecurity are forcing experienced workers out of the sector. That puts the people they support at risk.

These workers provide critical disability support services, but many can no longer afford to stay in the job. Instead of fixing this, DHS is relying on agency workers to fill shifts.
