I started working from home in 2009. No one has ever questioned if im actually working even though I start late every day, take mid-day naps, and dedicate Fridays to only monitoring email (it's my house cleaning day). As much work as I produce, I dont think anyone cares about clock hours 🤷🏾♀️

23 years married today 💜 It’s sad to think back on all the couples we used to do anniversary dinners with because most of them aren’t together anymore 😢 were currently on a mission to find new couple friends.

I've somehow ended up in a group chat with my mom and uncle, where they send church videos and talk about stories from when they were growing up. I really dont know how this happened 😵💫 and im trying to figure out why the other nieces and nephews were excluded... i might add them 🤭

Took a different brand of nighttime CBD that also had a touch of CBN in it. Only slept 6 hours, but I popped up at 4am feeling refreshed AF. This might be my new lil friend

My mom stayed in Fl with us for a week, then got on FB saying I was a “gracious host” and my cooking was delicious 😩 I’ve spent years telling fam I’m a terrible host with no space, no time, and that they'd be on their own for meals, so they don’t include my house in their Disney vacation plans 😂

I've seen how overbearing some parents can be to their young adult children. I think the hubs and I have found a good balance between providing support and direction when needed, and giving them space to explore and learn on their own.

Just sat down with all 3 of my adultish children to discuss their college schedules for the fall (so I can get my funds together lol) and the goals they wish to accomplish by the end of December. Still in shock that the baby of the bunch just graduated from high school.

I only had a relationship with my dad from ages 26-40. Over those 14 years he hinted that my mom kept me away, but his lack of relationship with his other children makes me question that. On top of the fact he rarely reached out to me until that last 8 months when he was dying from cancer.

I try to as much as I can. Especially when event planning, black vendors are always who I seek out first. The service offering and budget may not always align, but when it does, I'm happily signing the contract!!
