But unless you're grounded in a mission & vision you're bound to get caught up in whatever the competition is doing & lose a sense of focus

It's easy to think of your audience too narrowly. When we do, it results in thinking that our audience has only 1 need or disposition.

They don't & thinking this way can lead to your messaging pushing a certain button too hard.
