There is an earlier version of this account more focused on explaining the reasoning behind what I said than apologizing.

I changed it to what it is now because it doesn't matter how much sense I made in my own head if people thought I was being a dick about it.

While I'm at it, I apologize to @saidleirbag.bsky.social, the person to whom I originally brought up the Jose from Home Depot example. I didn't like how unsympathetic you seemed to the suffering of Americans under the current administration but arguing with you only made it worse. Sorry about that.

Why are you doing this after deleting your account?

Because I thought about it and decided that deleting my account without taking accountability for my actions was a cowardly thing to do and I needed to actually apologize for all the wrong shit I said in addition to destroying them.

I also wanted to say that me calling my own political beliefs incoherent is not an effort to say that they aren't bad and wrong. They are. But I tried to ask myself what I was hoping to achieve with my argument on New Year's Day and I legitimately couldn't answer because that's how wrong I was.

I say "disprove" but really, this donation is an apology too. It's my apology that I was ever even accused of being a zionist. If I hadn't talked out of my ass and acted unwisely then people wouldn't have thought that about me. I'm sorry for not doing enough to help the people in need.

One final but important apology:

I am not an attorney. I am merely STUDYING to be an attorney. As in, I am in law school.

I am allowed to do pro bono work for legal clinics only under the strict supervision of licensed attorneys.

I want to apologize for a few things on this account:

1. I'm sorry for lying about deleting "all" of my posts about Gaza. I never did that. I only deleted the posts that I believed would make me look too supportive of Palestine. That was a cowardly and paranoid move on my part and I shouldn't have.
