Yes, I just started a new job, so it’s been requiring a lot more from me than usual. I think things are settling down enough that I can devote some energy to creating again!

I don't know, I managed a Claire's for a year or so in college. They've got a place in my heart even if I do wish they'd update their ear piercing protocols (I could write you a book about piercing guns). The brand has heritage and it's an institution.

To me, it seems like a way for Claire's to save themselves is to pivot into becoming a sort of Sephora for Teens. They would sell a mix of the same prestige skincare brands sold at Sephora mixed with more affordable offerings and maybe continue to sell accessories 2/

I found it yesterday in a six pack; I’m not really supposed to have sugar but it’s definitely out there in and around Winchester where it’s bottled, I think the gas station I was at yesterday is near Mt Sterling.

As someone from the area I feel like all they’d need to do housing-wise is make this one notch cheaper than whatever they’re charging in West Chester and Mason, and they have a slam dunk. A lot of young grads work up there who can’t afford rent nearby.

This really captures the difference in the LIGHT between these two malls…Tri County is this sun-soaked glass palace, and Forest Fair in its heyday pre-Mills was always kind of dark, lit by neon.
