I understand why we've had to be this way on this side of things but i dunno, I'm just tired and it's lonely and I'll still probably read the Wilson translation because I hadn't heard of it and it's exciting and if it doesn't mesh with me, oh well, at least it's accurate and hell yeah for that.

And, I hate to say it, but we're so used to defending against those awful dudebros that we get SO defensive that anyone that slightly agrees with them is vilified and dog piled immediately, thus ending any meaningful discussion because it's a survival thing.

Oh yeah, because the awful people making a stink about it on one side probably haven't read any translation, let alone hers, and don't like that she's a woman.

I've literally translated it myself (from Latin, not Greek) but I shouldn't have to prove myself to have an opinion on this. I just happen to really really like flowery text in general but I still acknowledge that hers is the best/most accurate and I'm not sure why we have to be so awful about it?
